Tashmika Rajakaruna
B.Sc(Hons) Applied Sciences
Tashmika Rajakaruna, a dedicated Biology educator with comprehensive expertise in multiple examination curricula, including the Sri Lankan National syllabus, Edexcel A Level, and OCR. Tashmika graduated from the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a Second-Class Upper Division in the Biological Science stream. Since 2015, Tashmika has been actively involved in the field of education, beginning her teaching journey during her undergraduate years.
Tashmika served as an Advanced Level Biology teacher at one of the most prestigious girls’ schools in Colombo 07, Sri Lanka, where she gained valuable classroom experience and contributed to students’ academic success. Alongside her school teaching career, she has accumulated years of experience in guiding Advanced Level Biology students towards excellence through both private tutoring and online platforms.
Tashmika’s teaching approach is student-centered and enriched with innovative methodologies. She utilizes visually engaging slide presentations, interactive discussions, and real-life examples to make complex biological concepts more accessible and relatable.
